FAQ

Common questions

When can I enroll in Medicare?
Your Initial Enrollment Period is a 7 month window around your 65th birthday. Annual changes happen during Medicare Open Enrollment (Oct 15 to Dec 7). Special situations, such as losing group coverage or moving, can open a Special Enrollment Period.
Medicare Advantage or Medigap, which is better?
Neither is universally better. Advantage plans bundle Part D and often add dental, vision, and hearing but limit you to a network. Medigap pairs with Original Medicare and gives you nationwide access. We compare your doctors, prescriptions, and travel patterns before recommending either.
Do you charge for Medicare help?
No. Our consultations are always no-cost. We're paid by the carrier you choose, never by you or your family.
Can you help if I'm already enrolled?
Yes. We review your current plan every fall to make sure your doctors and drugs are still covered, and switch you if a better option exists in your county.
